Enter words, identifiers, or advanced commands in the Get Any or Combined
search fields. Some examples to test:
- RIF=autism finds many autism-associated transcripts in RNA databases (rif=reference into function)
- Mb=(Chr1 174 177) finds genes/transcripts or markers on chromosome 1 from 174 to 177 Mb
- Mean=(10 16) LRS=(23 46) in the Combined field finds highly expressed genes (10 to 16 units) AND that have peak LRS linkage between 23 and 46.
- Wiki=nicotine finds genes/transcripts annotated by GN users with the key word nicotine
- GO:0045202 finds synapse-associated genes from Gene Ontology

Getting Started
- Select Species (or select All)
- Select Group (a specific sample)
- Select Type of data:
- Phenotype (traits)
- Genotype (markers)
- Expression (mRNAs)
- Select a Database
- Enter search terms in the Any or All field: words, genes, ID numbers, probes, advanced search commands
- Click on the Search button
- Optional: Use the Make Default button to save your preferences
- Optional: Try Advanced Search
